Is there a dress code?
We recommend business casual while attending Heartland events. Iowa can be hot, humid, and cold on the same day. We recommend layers while at the conference.

Unfortunately, the courses and sessions for 2023 Heartland Conference will not be recorded or live streamed.

How do I set up a VGM tour?
Signs will be displayed directing you to signup for the VGM tours. A VGM employee will reserve a spot on the shuttle for you to get you to our headquarters. You can also sign up in advance here.

What is Heartland Conference?
The VGM Heartland Conference is an annual conference that brings our member community together, along with leading manufacturers in the industry. Not only will you find solutions to some of today's most challenging problems, you will also experience classroom and hands-on learning opportunities; while establishing long-lasting and impactful connections.
The multi-day event is filled with education in areas such as rehab, marketing, accessibility, compliance, business leadership, people strategy, and more. Network with your peers, see the latest product innovations, learn from the industry's top professionals, and have a little fun while you're at it.
Heartland includes peer-to-peer best practice sharing, an exhibit hall with hands-on product demos, fireworks, education, meals, at an all-inclusive price. You simply cannot afford to miss it!

Registration
When is the final day to register?
We encourage all attendees to register prior to June 6th. However, if you’d like to benefit from early bird pricing, be sure to register before the cutoff date, April 14th.

Can I bring a guest?
Only if they buy a guest pass. This will give them access to social events ONLY—educational sessions and classes are not included. An attendee pass allows only the holder (you) entrance.

Are there food accommodations?
Of course! Each meal will include vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have a food allergy, let us know and we’ll set aside a special meal for you.

What’s with all these cookies?
What can we say, we love cookies! Our freshly baked cookies are handmade by VGM's employees and are complimentary, so be sure to take one…or two…or three…or as many as you’d like while at Heartland. Enjoy!

COVID-19
Are refunds available if I register and the conference is cancelled?
Heartland Conference attendees may cancel their registration without penalty at any time. If you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19 within 2 weeks of the event, please do not attend in person. You can order at home tests here: https://www.covidtests.gov/

Are masks required at Heartland Conference
VGM Heartland Conference will not require masks, however we will have enhanced cleaning in high touch point areas and social events will be held outdoors. No social distancing required, but there is plenty of space to experience Heartland at your own comfort level. Hand sanitizer and masks will be readily available to all guests and attendees.
The health and safety of the VGM Heartland community of attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff is our highest priority. VGM Heartland is closely monitoring the latest government recommendations and announcements related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). VGM has a pandemic task force assembled that will advise us to recommendations as Heartland approaches.
