Carrie Proffitt is a registered respiratory therapist, certified accreditation consultant, and operations executive with over two decades of experience. Carrie has spent the last 19 years working in the HME and SNF industry not only in the U.S. but globally, developing outcomes-driven respiratory programs, protocols, and software to elevate the standards of respiratory care. Throughout her career, she has won several awards, including being named the Long-Term Care Respiratory Therapist of the Year by the American Association of Respiratory Care. Carrie clinically managed the only sub-acute program to receive the American College of Chest Physicians – Center of Excellence Award. Carrie now serves as the VP of Clinical Operations for Encore Healthcare and as a regulatory surveyor for the ACHC.
