Asela M. Cuervo

Asela M. Cuervo is a health care attorney practicing in Washington, D. C. Asela has represented health care providers and payers, including HME providers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and physicians on a variety of legal and business matters. Her experience includes Medicare anti-kickback, reimbursement, and compliance with Medicare and other health laws and regulations such as HIPAA. Currently, Asela serves as a member of the Provider Advisory and Oversight Committee (PAOC), a government committee providing guidance on the implementation of competitive bidding and accreditation for DMEPOS suppliers.
