New This Year

Heartland Conference continues to be the premier educational event in the HME industry. This year we're adding the following new opportunities to make the Heartland experience even better!

DO Revenue Opportunities

Check out the brand new pre-conference offering Lead: Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program offered by VGM's Accessibility division, AHIA. This course is designed for all equipment installers who work inside homes built before 1978. This all-day course will certify you as a renovator in Lead Safe Work Practices as required by the EPA. This education and certification could save you thousands of dollars in fines! Adding home accessibility is a great way to increase revenue in your business but make sure you're working smarter by getting the education you need!

DO Networking

The opportunity to spend time networking has been noted by past conference goers as the number one reason they attend Heartland Conference. VGM will provide you the venues to meet not only with your independent HME peers, but also give you face time with hundreds of content experts who are presenting at the conference. 2013 brings nearly 20 new presenters to Heartland including Dr. Martin Winkler, wound care expert, Dr. Teofilo Lee-Chiong, respiratory expert, and Laura Cohen, rehab expert.

Also new this year:
Be at the Hog Roast on Monday night in its new location in downtown Waterloo. Join us for the Mardi Gras themed Heartland Networking Gala at the historic Electric Park Ballroom.

DO Business Innovations

Small group discussion sessions will feature a rehab panel discussion, a session designed for attendees to share suggestions for business efficiency and cost savings, true stories about how to successfully implement retail into your DME, user group sessions for popular billing software, practical advice about moving into wound care, and peer feedback on CPAP fulfillment programs.

VGM Vendors will be displaying their latest product innovations in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday. Don't miss the exhibit hall opening on Tuesday night to see all the latest and greatest!
