Cell Phones, E-mail, Internet, Texting, and the Telephone - ALL At WORK
Speaker: Ty Bello
Course Description:
If you ever had to call one of your parents at work back in the old days, you remember how awkward you felt bothering them and then when you did call, they didn't exactly make you feel good about the call. They were working and did not want to take time from their job. NOT ANYMORE. Now we have e-mail, texting, cell phones, the Internet to battle for keeping our team members actively working and being productive. They can be at their desk, in a company vehicle, on the showroom floor and they are continuously connected and taking call, texts and the like. So how do you implement proactive, productive, and permissive policies that will fulfill their need to stay connected and your need to keep them working?
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize what staying connected means to your team
- Identify why you need a policy and how much not having one costs you every day
- Discuss guidelines for developing a proactive, productive, and permissive policy that works for you and your team
- Apply action items to get the policy written and in place
