A Family Affair: Managing Work Relationships When People at Work are Related

Course Description:

This session will focus in on key relationship issues for family-owned and/or operated businesses. Presentation and discussion will cover a variety of strategies for communicating with family members including day-to-day work as well as sticky or sensitive situations. If you work for a family-owned business but aren’t related, this session will help you develop new techniques for dealing with the difficulties that can arise, especially if the family members are there to stay and you’d like to, too.
