New Supplier Standards! What they Really Mean for your Business

CMS has just released proposed changes to the Supplier Standards. Many of these changes are dramatic, and significantly affect how suppliers may conduct their business. This program includes a roadmap through these substantial changes.

In general National Supplier Clearinghouse activity is at unprecedented levels. Surprise inspections have increased substantially, and suppliers are being held to levels of virtual perfection in compliance with the Supplier Standards. Unfortunately, many of the “rules” are not well communicated, and are subject to inconsistent interpretation and application by the NSC.

Equally important, the rights granted to suppliers by federal law are not always understood or honored.
